You're not afraid of it all

i'm so thankful for the opprotunites i've been given, i'm truly blessed with the life i live. a simple question is posed to almost everyone i talk to. what do you wanna be when you grow up? simple yes. but does everyone have an answer? not even close. i can say that the majority of people i talk to have not a clue as to what they want to be when the "grow up", but me i've been following my dreams since i was little. working in the fashion industry was what i'm destined to do. what i was just drawn to. and since following by passion, and following with such an energy i've been able to do things other dream about. do i still have a lot to work towards? of course. and i'm learning something new everyday. am i exhusted? more than anything. and i'm pretty sure my body hates me. but with each thing i do, i know that i'm one step closer to the career and life that i know i can achive.

October, though one of my favorite months. i can say it will be the most insane one yet. ever other day i'm doing something. I have LA fashion week, going to school, working, a week long trip to new york, meeting, and oh so much more. and with that all these amazing things are being thrown my way, and i'm ever so greatful. gotta love karma.

My friday night was all about rubbing elbows and sitting at fashions shows. walking the streets of melrose in 5 inch platforms. and driving up and down sun set. talking to a perfect stranger. in store dance parties. and late night snacking on veggie burgers and curly fries at mel's diner. in a nutshell an average friday night in LA. all in the name of fashion. and the dear ginger in the photo above is the lovely Jac Vanek. if you don't know her, shame. she creates brilliant stuff.

Like yesterday you were always to me

Get Familar. Eye Alaska. Hands down one of the most orginal bands out there. changing the game. not in it for the fame. but for the music. the sounds incrible. go to a show and you'll know what i mean they put there heart into every single song. and take the time to meet their fans. i've seen them quite a few times, and yes, had my fan girl moment in the past. but listen to their music and you'll see why

Goodbye summer, Hello fall. Labor day came and past and naturally that means no more wearing white. but rules are meant to be broken. this weekend is filled with a ton of exciting opprotuinities.

friday is LA's first fashion's night out. booze, clothes, celebrities, and friends. what more can a gal ask for.

saturday is the recoupe day.

sunday i'll be attending the VMA's with my very best at my side.

This is how I ended my summer. It was perfect.

All of these vultures hiding right outside my door

loading up on school books, high lighters, and ball point pens. freedom is over in t minus one day. and though i'm terribly sad to see this summer come to a close fall has so much to offer. 1. halloween. 2. the big 1-9 ( pointless age) but i do love a party. 3. trip to the big apple 4. thanksgiving (family, friends, apples to apples)5.roadtrips 5. christmas 6. and bringing this year to a close. and of course in between little things pop up here and there, and due to mother nature and her indecisiveness, it looks like fall will be hotter than summer. so thank you MN.
